Registration/Login
Problems
If you receive
an error message or are unable to proceed when trying to register it
is likely that this is due to your computer not accepting cookies.
To change this is a very simple process and the instructions are
given below.
What is a
cookie? A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard
drive containing some very basic information about the user. They
enable the site to recognize the user when revisiting to simplify
the login process. They do not interfere in any way with the
performance of your PC and are very small. Most websites now use
cookies.
Why do you
use cookies? Cookies help us identify you as the owner of the
registration you have input. They enable you to use the site at any
time without having to re-enter your logon details each time you
access different parts of the site and for each session. Cookies
help us track the activity on our site too so we can ensure the site
is tailored for maximum benefit.
How do I
enable cookies on my PC? Below are some simple instructions for
the major types of web browser (most people now use Explorer 5). If
you still have problems logging in after enabling cookies or are
unsure of the information contained here please send an email to emai...l@neteasy.....
Internet
Explorer 6.x
The latest
version of Microsoft's browser includes privacy options related to
the W3C's P3P project. Websites should have a P3P policy declaration
before the browser accepts (by default) the setting of cookies. We
have such a declaration and this should enable your PC to accept
cookies from http://www.neteasy.digimode.co.uk. However if you are still having
difficulties please try the following:
In IE6 select
"view" from the top menu and select "Privacy Report" from the
list. This should bring up a box with a list of recently visited
web pages. Select any http://www.neteasy.digimode.co.uk/ page from this
list and then click summary towards the bottom right of this
box. This should present a message "could not find a privacy
policy........". At the bottom of this page is an "always allow this
site to use cookies". Please check the button next to this and then
Ok it and the close the residual box. Please note the link to our
privacy statement above.
